Job Position – NetSuite Developer

Job Summary
Looking for an experienced NetSuite Developer to design, develop, and maintain customizations and integrations on the NetSuite ERP platform. The ideal candidate will have strong SuiteScript expertise, hands-on experience with SuiteCloud tools, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop and maintain SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 scripts — Client, User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, RESTlet, and Workflow Action scripts
– Design and build custom records, fields, forms, and workflows using SuiteBuilder and SuiteFlow
– Develop and maintain third-party integrations using API.
– Create and maintain Advanced PDF/HTML templates for transactions and reports
– Build and optimize Saved Searches, Reports, and SuiteAnalytics Workbooks to support business reporting needs
– Deploy and manage customizations using SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF)
– Perform data migrations and CSV imports/exports
– Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing NetSuite customizations and integrations
– Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
– Maintain proper documentation for all customizations, scripts, and integrations
– Ensure adherence to NetSuite best practices, governance limits, and coding standards
– Participate in testing, UAT, and go-live support activities
– Support upgrades and sandbox testing during NetSuite release cycles
Required Skills & Qualifications
– 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience
– Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 (all script types)
– Experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) and version control (Git)
– Solid understanding of NetSuite modules — Finance, Inventory, Sales, Procurement, CRM
– Experience building REST/SOAP integrations with third-party systems
– Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), JSON, XML, and basic HTML/CSS
– Ability to write complex Saved Searches and formula fields (SQL-like syntax)
– Familiarity with OAuth 1.0 / OAuth 2.0 / Token-Based Authentication
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Good communication skills — able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred / Nice to Have
– NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer II certification
– Experience with SuiteCommerce / SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA)
– Knowledge of SuiteAnalytics Connect (JDBC/ODBC)
– Exposure to DocuSign, Celigo, Boomi, or MuleSoft integrations with NetSuite
– Experience in multi-subsidiary / OneWorld NetSuite environments
– Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
– Prior experience in Finance, Retail, Healthcare, or Manufacturing domain
