Job Position – Planning Manager

Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage project planning and control activities across multiple projects.
– Monitor project progress, evaluate actual performance against planned targets, and implement corrective actions.
– Develop and maintain project schedules, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), progress reports, and performance dashboards.
– Oversee project cost control, budget forecasting, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
– Prepare and review weekly and monthly progress reports, highlighting project status, critical activities, delays, and potential risks.
– Coordinate with project management, operations, and other departments to ensure timely project execution.
– Identify project delays, cost overruns, and schedule deviations, recommending appropriate recovery plans.
– Manage and supervise the Project Controls team, including resource allocation, performance monitoring, and staff development.
– Ensure compliance with project quality, HSE requirements, company policies, and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree is preferred).
– Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Project Controls Management within the Oil & Gas industry.
– Strong experience in EPIC (Engineering, Procurement, Installation & Commissioning), Oil & Gas projects, shutdowns, and manpower supply.
– Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, and resource management.
– Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project management tools.
– PMP certification is an added advantage.
– Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
– Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
