Job Position – Project Coordinator
Company Name – SCEGC
Responsible for coordinating civil construction activities between the Project Manager, site teams, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution, timely completion, and compliance with quality and project requirements.
Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination: Coordinate daily civil activities, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
2. Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, schedules, milestones, and deliverables, and report delays or issues to the Project Manager.
3. Technical & Document Coordination: Coordinate drawings, RFIs, material submittals, inspections, method statements, reports, and project correspondence.
4. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, and other departments to resolve project requirements and issues.
5. Reporting & Follow-up: Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, meeting minutes, action trackers, and follow up on approvals, materials, inspections, and outstanding activities.
Requirements
01. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction/project coordination.
UAE/GCC construction experience preferred.
02. Experience in high-rise building projects
03. Good knowledge of civil construction methods, drawings, specifications, and project procedures.
04. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and preferably Primavera P6/MS Project.
05. Experience with RFIs, material submittals, inspections, project reports, and technical documentation.
06. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site teams.
