Job Position – QC Engineer

Job Summary:
Looking for a qualified and experienced QC Engineer to join our team in Umm Al Quwain. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance in fabrication, welding, inspection, and testing activities related to oil & gas and structural steel projects.
Key Responsibilities:
– Implement and monitor quality control procedures at site and workshop
– Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable international codes and standards
– Conduct inspections for fabrication, welding, fit-up, painting, and erection activities
– Review and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, test reports, and QA/QC records
– Coordinate with client inspectors, third-party inspectors, and project teams during inspections and audits
– Prepare and review ITPs, WPS, PQR, WQT, Method Statements, MIR Reports, and related quality documents
– Monitor and coordinate NDT and DT activities as per project requirements
– Ensure proper material traceability, calibration records, and inspection status control
– Identify non-conformities and follow up corrective and preventive actions
– Participate in internal and external quality audits
– Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during project execution
Requirements:
– Minimum 3+ years of experience as QC Engineer in Oil & Gas and Structural Steel projects
– Minimum 1 year UAE experience mandatory
– ASNT Level II or PCN NDT certificate holder
– CSWIP 3.1 certification mandatory
– BGAS Grade II certification preferred
– Familiar with NDT and DT testing procedures
– Experience in WPS, WQT, PQR, and PQT qualifications
– Sound knowledge of international Codes and Standards
– Must be proficient in AI tools usage related to QC documentation and report preparation
– Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills
