Job Position – Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:
– Prepare and analyze tender documents, including bills of quantities, to ensure accurate cost estimation for construction projects.
– Conduct detailed cost analysis and provide recommendations on procurement strategies to achieve optimal project outcomes.
-Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with project requirements and budget constraints.
-Prepare interim valuations, variation orders, and final accounts in accordance with contractual obligations and deadlines.
– Provide regular reports on cost performance, forecasting, and budget variance analysis to senior management and project teams.
– Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quantity surveying and cost management.
– Maintain accurate records, documentation, and databases related to cost management, contracts, and project correspondence.
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies on all construction sites.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on construction projects,
with a strong understanding of cost management principles and practices.
