Job Position – Quantity Surveyor
Company Name –
Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity take-offs, procurement support, contract administration, project cost control, and final account settlements for interior fit-out and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and project cost estimates.
– Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
– Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
– Monitor project budgets, costs, and cash flows.
– Prepare valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.
– Manage project variations and contractual documentation.
– Coordinate with project managers, site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
– Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and timelines.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
– Minimum 3-5 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out, joinery, or construction projects.
– Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, and cost control.
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity surveying software.
– Experience handling subcontractor packages and procurement activities.
– Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, and residential fit-out projects.
– Familiarity with UAE construction practices and contract administration.
