Job Position – Restaurant Manager
Company Name – Portofino
Premium Casual Dining
Location: Downtown Dubai, Boulevard, UAE
Salary: AED 15,000 per month
Concept combines international cuisine, premium hospitality, an innovative non-alcoholic beverage program, and a sophisticated shisha experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE
Strong knowledge of premium casual dining and upscale restaurant operations.
Excellent understanding of international hospitality and guest service standards.
Proficiency in restaurant reservation and guest management systems, particularly SevenRooms or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of POS systems, restaurant reporting, and operational KPIs.
Experience in restaurant budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and revenue optimization.
Ability to manage reservations, VIP guests, guest relations, and service recovery.
Proven ability to act as the central point of communication and coordination between all departments, including Kitchen, Bar, Marketing, Stewarding, and Front of House.
Strong understanding of staff scheduling, training, performance management, and operational efficiency.
Knowledge of Dubai Municipality requirements, food safety standards, and UAE hospitality regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous restaurant management experience in the UAE is mandatory.
Proven experience in premium casual dining, upscale restaurants, or luxury hospitality.
Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multicultural team.
Fluent English is mandatory, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of Arabic and/or Russian will be considered a strong advantage.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a guest-focused approach.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain high service standards.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.
Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
