Job Position – Security Engineer

Location – Abu Dhabi, UAE

Salary range 5000 – 8000AED/ Month

Key Responsibilities:
– System Operations: Operate, monitor, and manage security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
– SIRA Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) standards, procedures, and regulations to maintain operational and legal standards.
– Security System Monitoring: Monitor multiple security and BMS systems in real-time to identify and address any incidents or irregularities.
– Incident Response: Respond promptly to security alerts, system malfunctions, or breaches and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
– Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with CCTV, BMS, and other security systems, escalating to technical teams as needed.
– Operator Role: Perform operator duties such as managing access control systems, conducting surveillance, coordinating with security teams, and maintaining logs of activities.
– Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and updates on security and BMS systems to ensure optimal performance.
– Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including facilities management, IT, and security teams, to ensure seamless operation of all systems.
– Reporting: Maintain detailed records and provide regular reports on security operations, system performance, and incidents to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
– Proven experience in operating and maintaining CCTV, BMS, and other security systems.
– Strong understanding of SIRA guidelines and regulations.
– Experience in a security operator role or related position.
– Knowledge of security system monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response.
– Familiarity with the latest advancements in security technologies and building management systems.
– Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
– Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach to system management.
– Valid UAE driving license is a plus.
