Job Position – Senior Accountant

Company Name – RTC Consultancy

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Experience Required: Minimum 15 years (of which at least 10 years in the UAE)
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
Notice Period: Maximum 1 Month
Availability: Must be currently based in the UAE

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices within the UAE, with proven expertise in financial management, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS/GAAP regulations.
2. Coordinate with internal departments across company divisions to ensure business alignment.
3. Manage accounts receivable effectively, ensuring timely collection and proper reconciliation.
4. Coordinate with clients and the PRO to resolve billing or documentation purposes.
5. Handle payroll processing in accordance with UAE labour and wage protection regulations.
6. Liaise with banks and insurance companies for transactions, facilities, and policy management.
7. Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.
8. Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenditure to support business decision-making.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
10. Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance as needed.
11. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency.
12. Perform other duties and special assignments as directed by management.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Master’s or professional certification is an advantage).
2. Minimum 15 years of accounting experience, with at least 10 years in the UAE.
3. Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT, and compliance standards.
4. Proven experience in:
a) Accounts receivable collection
b) Client and PRO coordination
c) Payroll processing
d) Bank and insurance dealings
e) Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office, ERP Software and other accounting software.
6. Must be currently in the UAE and able to join within one month.
