About the job
You will be working with a market-leading company to provide provision and distribute resolutions for the Business and IT focussed initiatives: deployment and cloud migrations to database solution development. Our ideal candidate should have solid experience with database expertise and data modelling to safeguard that the availability and performance of crucial databases and systems meet standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and develop the on-premises to cloud migration
- Assist in the validation of data recovery, quality and storage
- Analyze database issues and troubleshoot or configure the database accordingly
- Drive automation of code
- Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Previously worked in an autonomous (Ansible, Jenkins, Shell scripting) agile team
- Extensive knowledge in Oracle database architecture and features (leading public clouds, VMware based private cloud)
- Strong Database experience (NoSQL & Cloud DBaas)
