Job Position – Senior Health & Safety Officer
Company: Ahmad Al Suwaidi Building Contracting
Location: Dubai, UAE
Ahmad Al Suwaidi Building Contracting is seeking a qualified and experienced Health & Safety Officer to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in building construction projects, preferably villa residential or commercial buildings, and a strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, implement, and monitor Health & Safety policies and procedures on site
– Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and company standards
– Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments
– Identify hazards and implement corrective/preventive actions
– Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
– Prepare safety reports and maintain documentation
– Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure safe working practices
– Investigate incidents/accidents and recommend preventive measures
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
– NEBOSH certification (required)
– Minimum 3–5 years of experience in UAE construction industry
– Preferably with experience in high-rise building construction projects
– Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality & UAE HSE regulations
– Excellent communication and reporting skills
– Immediate joiners preferred
