Job Position – Senior IT Administrator
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Job Type: Full-Time
Hiring a highly skilled and experienced to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of networks, biometric attendance systems, servers, end-user support, and IT security across all locations.
This role requires a proactive professional with strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to manage IT operations independently.
Key Responsibilities:
-IT Infrastructure & Network Management
-Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, switches, and firewall systems.
-Monitor network performance, uptime, and connectivity across offices/sites.
-Diagnose and resolve network-related issues promptly.
-Ensure secure and efficient network operations.
-Biometric & Attendance Systems
-Manage biometric attendance machines, time attendance software, and user enrollment.
-Ensure seamless integration of attendance data with HR/payroll systems.
-Troubleshoot device connectivity and synchronization issues.
-Maintain access control systems and support CCTV systems when required.
System Administration & Technical Support
-Administer Windows servers, Active Directory, shared drives, email systems, and Office 365.
-Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and IT peripherals.
-Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
-Manage system backups, recovery processes, and data protection measures.
-IT Security & Compliance
-Maintain antivirus, endpoint protection, and patch management systems.
-Ensure IT policies, security standards, and software licensing compliance.
-Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
-Vendor & Team Coordination
-Liaise with third-party vendors for AMC, support services, and procurement.
-Supervise junior IT support staff when required.
-Recommend and implement IT upgrades and process improvements.
Candidate Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
-Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in IT Administration / Infrastructure Support.
-Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN), firewalls, VPN, switches, and routers.
-Hands-on experience with biometric attendance systems and access control solutions.
-Good experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, backups, and user support.
-Knowledge of CCTV systems and cloud platforms will be an advantage.
-Strong communication skills in English.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
-Preferred Certifications:
-CCNA / MCSA / MCSE / CompTIA Network+ / Security+
