Job Position – Senior Network Engineer
Company Name – Alpha Data Recruitment
Location: Abu Dhabi
Experience : 9+ years
Salary : Upto 15000 AED
Contract : 1 Year extendable
Role Highlights
Industry certifications like CCNP or equivalent, cisco certification
Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
Provide Level-1/2 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Prepare operational reports on the network infrastructure on periodic basis.
Technical Skills:
Bachelors Degree (Engineering Degree preferred) in Computer Sciences or equivalent from a recognized university
Minimum 5 years of experience in a reputable firm(s) in the areas of IT infrastructure Network operations.
Industry certifications like CCNP or equivalent, cisco certification preferred
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
Knowledge of ITIL framework.
