Job Position – Senior Security Engineer

CISSP for Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain security solutions that protect the organization’s information assets.
Conduct risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Develop and enforce security policies and best practices across the organization.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to communicate security concepts effectively.
Provide hands-on support and expertise with security technologies, including:
Firewalls, proxies, and web application firewalls
Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) and sandbox solutions
Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools
Vulnerability scanners and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions
Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity Access Management (IAM) systems
DDoS mitigation systems
Maintain an understanding of current security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends.
Inspire and motivate team members to achieve security goals and commitments.
Demonstrate personal integrity and effective self-management in a high-pressure environment.
Analyze and report on security incidents and propose improvements as necessary.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
At least 8 years of relevant experience in information security engineering, preferably within a highly rated international bank or large corporate environment.
Certifications:
Mandatory: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Security engineering certifications and qualifications in Microsoft operating systems or Linux are required.
Required Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Comprehensive understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and security best practices.
Analytical, planning, and organizing skills with a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and deliver under pressure.
Initiative and critical thinking to perform complex tasks without predefined processes.
Technology Knowledge:
Proficient in a wide range of information security technologies and tools, with hands-on experience.
