Job Position – Sous Chef

The ideal candidate should possess a genuine passion for Italian cuisine and have extensive knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine in menu planning and development
• Supervise kitchen operations in the Chef de Cuisine’s absence
• Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen are of the highest quality and presentation
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure that they deliver efficient and effective service
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness
• Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and food
• Participate and contribute to team meetings and menu tastings
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or 5 years as Chef de Partie
• Profound knowledge of Italian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A firm commitment to providing exceptional customer service
