Job Position – Sr. Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
1 . Review and interpret electrical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements, TAQA regulations, and international standards.
2. Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements, and material submittals for consultant/client approval.
3. Coordinate effectively with project consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Plan, organize, and monitor electrical installation activities including LV power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, ELV systems, earthing, and lightning protection.
5. Ensure that all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, TAQA/local authority requirements, and industry standards.
6. Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and audits to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
7. Assist in managing procurement activities, including technical evaluation and approval of electrical materials and equipment.
8. Participate in technical meetings, provide engineering support, and resolve site-related technical issues in a timely manner.
9. Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes of electrical systems in compliance with project requirements and TAQA standards.
10. Perform accurate quantity take-offs and verify against project requirements.
11. Ensure timely placement of material orders to avoid delays in project execution.
Minimum Requirements:
– Relevant 7+ years UAE experience in an MEP contracting company or in a similar role.
– Engineering Bachelor’s Degree.
– Immediate availability to join the team.
