Job Position – Sr. Network Engineer

Summary:
Looking for a skilled Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-level networks across data centers, branches, and cloud environments. The role includes responsibilities in network operations, security, WAN optimization, and data center management.

Key Responsibilities:
– Network Design & Implementation:
Design secure LAN/WAN/data center networks using routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Oversee structured cabling (copper/fiber).

– Operations & Monitoring:
Manage and monitor network performance, resolve issues, maintain documentation, and ensure high uptime.

– WAN & SD-WAN:
Configure MPLS, VPNs, and SD-WAN solutions for optimized connectivity across distributed sites.

– Security & Compliance:
Implement access controls, monitor threats, respond to incidents, and ensure network complies with security regulations.

– Capacity Planning:
Forecast future network and data center needs, adopt scalable technologies, and manage power/cooling/resources.

– Data Center Management:
Maintain data center health (environment, cabling, hardware), supervise upgrades, and ensure documentation.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
– 4+ years in enterprise network environments.
– Strong knowledge of routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP).
– Experience with tools like SolarWinds or PRTG.
– Familiar with SD-WAN, structured cabling, and data center operations.
– Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
