Job Position – Storekeeper

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage inventory operations, stock control, documentation, and coordination with internal departments and suppliers. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate record-keeping, proper stock rotation, and timely reporting of stock-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
•Receive Shipments:
Inspect incoming goods for damage, verify quantities, batch numbers, and expiry dates against the approved LPO and supplier invoice.
•Prepare Goods Receipt Note (GRN):
Accurately prepare and record GRNs and share copies with the Purchase and Accounts departments.
•Stock Arrangement:
Organize and store items following FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) methods where applicable.
•Data Entry:
Enter purchase invoices and stock movements into the internal inventory system accurately and on time.
•Stock Transfers:
Prepare and transfer stock to sub-stores/clinics on a weekly basis with proper documentation.
•Inter-Company Transfers:
Ensure accurate recording of internal stock transfers, updating both issuing and receiving locations.
•Inventory Monitoring:
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and report shortages, near-expiry, or damaged goods to the Purchase Manager.
•Stock Issue Control:
Issue materials only against approved requisitions and maintain proper Goods Issued Notes (GIN).
•Documentation Follow-up:
Coordinate with suppliers, stores, and clinic teams to collect pending invoices and related documents.
•Physical Stock Verification:
Conduct weekly and monthly physical stock checks, including expiry date verification.
•Warehouse Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness, proper labeling, and systematic arrangement for easy identification and retrieval.
•Support Operations:
Assist clinic and ward staff with urgent stock requirements.
•Compliance & Safety:
Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature control if required) and follow safety and regulatory guidelines for medical products.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven experience in storekeeping, inventory, or warehouse management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry accuracy.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
• Good communication skills.
• Languages: English & Hindi
