Job Position – Supply Chain Specialist
Company Name – AJT Printing and Packaging
Hiring an experienced Supply Chain Specialist with a strong background in the printing and packaging industry. You’ll manage end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement of print materials, packaging substrates, and supplier management.
Must-have requirements?
– Currently based in UAE with valid residency
– Minimum 5 years in supply chain within the printing & packaging industry
– Deep knowledge of printing processes, packaging materials, and production supply chains
– Hands-on experience with SAP (MM, SD, or SCM modules)
– Well-versed in leveraging AI tools to streamline and optimise supply chain processes — including demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, supplier analysis, and data-driven decision-making
– Available to join immediately or at very short notice
Printing & Packaging knowledge we expect?
– Offset, digital, flexographic, and screen printing processes
– Packaging substrates — corrugated, cartons, flexible, rigid, and labels
– Procurement of inks, plates, films, laminates, and finishing materials
– Pre-press, press, and post-press supply chain workflow
– Supplier qualification and quality standards for print materials (ISO, FSC)
– Lead time management for seasonal and high-volume packaging runs
What you’ll do?
– Demand Planning & Forecasting
– Analyse historical data and market trends to forecast demand accurately.
– Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to align supply planning with business needs.
– Identify and mitigate supply chain risks proactively.
– Reporting & Process Improvement
– Prepare regular supply chain performance reports (KPIs, cost analysis, delivery metrics).
– Identify inefficiencies in supply chain processes and recommend improvements.
– Support implementation of ERP/supply chain software upgrades and new processes.
– Maintain accurate documentation for all procurement and logistics activities.

Other requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
– UAE/GCC market knowledge and strong supplier network preferred
– CIPS or APICS certification is an advantage
