Job Position – Survey Engineer

Location – Abu Dhabi, UAE
Looking for a Survey Engineer with experience in infrastructure and construction projects, skilled in site surveying, setting-out, and coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate execution of works.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare survey work plans and coordinate with the construction team.
– Conduct site surveys, topographic surveys, and setting out works for infrastructure / Earthwork projects
– Set out control points, benchmarks, and site levels for cutting and filling operations.
– Interpret engineering drawings and construction plans related to earthworks.
– Monitor and guide excavation and backfilling operations to ensure alignment with design levels and grades.
– Use GPS, Total Station, and other surveying equipment to capture accurate measurements and data.
– Prepare daily survey reports, field sketches, and volume calculations.
– Collaborate with project engineers, site supervisors, and equipment operators to ensure smooth and accurate execution.
– Verify as-built conditions and provide necessary updates to project documentation.
– Maintain a complete and up-to-date record of all survey data and reports.
– Ensure survey activities comply with project quality standards and safety regulations.
Qualification:
– Bachelor’s degree in surveying engineering.
– Minimum 5 years of experience in land surveying for earthworks (cutting and filling) in infrastructure projects.
– Experience in using survey instruments such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and related software.
– Preparation of longitudinal profiles, generation of cross-sections, and computation of executed earthwork quantities.
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and survey data processing software.
– Strong understanding of earthwork procedures, grading, and volume calculations.
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
