Job Position – System Administrator

Key Responsibilities
– Manage and maintain enterprise physical and virtual server infrastructure across production, disaster recovery, and test environments
– Administer Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, patching, and lifecycle management
– Manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, clusters, virtual machines, vMotion, HA, DRS, and storage resources
– Support Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, mail flow, licensing, and user administration
– Administer file servers, storage, NTFS permissions, shared folders, quotas, and data access controls
– Manage enterprise backup, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and restoration activities
– Plan and deploy server patches, firmware updates, and vulnerability remediation while maintaining compliance
– Monitor server infrastructure, troubleshoot critical incidents, perform root cause analysis, and maintain high system availability
– Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams to support enterprise IT operations and infrastructure projects
Required Technical Skills
– Strong experience with Windows Server administration
– Hands-on expertise with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion, and virtualization technologies
– Experience administering Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments
– Knowledge of enterprise backup solutions, disaster recovery, and business continuity
– Experience with WSUS, SCCM, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, or similar patch management tools
– Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and firewall concepts
– Familiarity with server hardening, endpoint security, EDR, MFA, privileged access management, and compliance frameworks
– Experience with enterprise monitoring tools, ITSM platforms, and incident management
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
– 7–10 years of experience in enterprise systems administration and infrastructure support
Preferred Certifications
– Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
– Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
– VMware Certified Professional (VCP – Data Center Virtualization)
– ITIL Foundation
– CompTIA Server+, Network+, or Security+
– Veeam, Veritas, Commvault, or equivalent backup certifications
