Job Position – Systems Security Operations Engineer

Salary: AED 12,000 – 14,000

Are you a highly skilled System Security professional with expertise in Windows, Linux, Cloud, and Security Operations? Do you thrive in securing IT infrastructures, enforcing security policies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards?
You will play a critical role in securing our IT infrastructure by enforcing server hardening, security benchmarking, cryptographic controls, and vulnerability management across on-premises and cloud environments. You will also lead security monitoring efforts, implement access control policies, and ensure compliance with best practices to protect our enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Server Hardening & Security Benchmarking:
-Define and enforce security benchmarks for servers and endpoints
-Implement security configurations to minimize attack surfaces
-Regularly apply security patches & updates
-Support vulnerability assessments and remediate security gaps
-Enforce identity and privilege access controls (RBAC, MFA, GPO, Conditional Access, etc.)
-Manage Linux Red Hat OS patching & hardening
-Secure VMware environments and remediate security issues
Security Monitoring & Analysis:
-Ensure security logging & auditing across all infrastructure components
-Analyze security alerts and mitigate threats effectively
Cryptographic Controls:
-Enforce data encryption at rest & in transit
-Manage key vaults and certificates with robust security policies
-Ensure audit logs and approval workflows for key management
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field
7+ years of experience in System & Security Operations
Essential Certifications & Skills:
-MCSE, MCSA 2019
-CCNA
-MS Azure Administrator
-Office 365 Expert
-VMware VCP
-Linux Red Hat
Desirable:
ITIL Certified
