About the job
• Produces well-written, high quality technical texts for proposals that sell our capabilities, experience and solutions to prospective customers and are responsive to RFP requirements.
• Edits and revises text and narratives produced by department personnel supporting the proposal efforts
• Works with subject matter experts to write technical text for proposals to make them clear, concise and easily followed and that they contain the right balance of graphical illustration for clarity and reading interest.
• Supports the training of others in effective technical writing and works with other in the proposal group to develop and maintain an inventory of high quality standard material including career profiles, project profiles and subject narratives.
• Support energy performance improvement initiatives
• Conserve energy consumption whenever possible
• Ensure that subordinates comply with company energy policy, procedures and Energy management system requirements.
• Participate in Emergency and First Aid Activities
• Report near misses and incidents
• Participate in HSE & Cross Functional meetings as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Proficient in all MS Office applications and knowledgeable in other publishing applications
• Capability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision in performance of daily duties
• Ability to prioritize, organize and complete tasks accurately and under short time constraints to meet external and internal client needs
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 5 years experience in business development, marketing, proposals or administration preferably in the facilities management, property/real estate, hospitatility or contracting fields
• Ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken English; formal education or training in English or technical communications required
• Should have minimum of bachelor’s in English, Journalism or a business related field.
