1) HVACR Technician

Job Requires
– Constantly apply standard operating procedures in your department.
– Adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
– Repair, maintain and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems of the hotel freezer, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, chillers and etc.
– Maintain preventively all air conditioning and refrigeration system within the hotel.
– Check on performance of refrigeration systems and components.
– Check on performance of air conditioning and chilled water system.
– Cooperate with all engineering colleagues in detention of failures of air condition, refrigeration system and function system.
– Cooperate and inform Engineering Storekeeper on purchase of parts.
– Immediate action to the problem in terms of repairs and breakdowns.
– Ensure that property and equipment are maintained in safe and efficient operating condition.
– Report significant system issues to supervisors and recommend improvements.
– Keep tools and equipment organized and in good condition.
– Strong understanding of electrical controls, compressors, motors, and ductwork.
– Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
– Good communication skills and a guest-focused attitude.
– Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
– Carry out the tasks assigned by the Department Head/Supervisor

2) Kitchen/Laundry Technician

Job Requires
– Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment (e.g. ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, gas ranges).
– Inspect, maintain, and repair laundry equipment (e.g. washers, dryers, presses, steamers).
– Perform routine preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
– Assist in the installation and commissioning of new kitchen or laundry equipment.
– Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
– Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring issues.
– Ensure all work complies with local codes, hotel safety procedures, and manufacturer’s guidelines.
– Maintain records of maintenance work, safety checks, and repairs performed.
– Follow all safety and hygiene procedures when working with gas, electricity, water, and chemicals.
– Keep an accurate inventory of tools and spare parts.
– Report major breakdowns or repair delays to supervisors and recommend corrective action.
– Provide regular updates and technical reports to management.
– Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC preferred.
– Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a hospitality or commercial environment.
– Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
– Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
– Basic understanding of safety procedures and risk assessments.
– Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
– Carry out tasks assigned by the Supervisor/Department Head.
