The opportunity
To be responsible for managing day to day delivery of facilities soft services to client through designated suppliers and ensuring highest standards as detailed in the scope of works section of the contract and will report to the building operations manager in Dubai.
To oversee the implementation of all approved initiatives and programs, by managing and coordinating with their team (direct reports, service providers, contractors, stakeholders etc.) to achieve the goal.
Working directly with the local client to ensure a thorough understanding of their objectives and the implementation of acceptable property-specific operating strategies that achieve these required standards and in full compliance with all appropriate legislation.
Representing Mace delivering business first-class service to support complex, multi-disciplined site and the requirements of the client.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing general administration of department, (holidays, training, performance reviews etc.).
- Updating and maintaining official safety documents, liaise with government authorities. Managing a PPM system and will contain information in accordance with the requirements of the contract, O&M manuals, health and safety and the asset criticality.
- Maintaining full financials awareness and control. Responsibility for meeting KPI’s and SLA’s defined within the contract.
- Achieving the sustainability strategy committed by the client.
- Ensuring accuracy of asset data in liaison with appropriate management team.
- Managing the CAFM system for PPM and reactive maintenance.
- Maintaining the data in a manner compliant with the Data Protection Act, organisational and contractual requirements. Assisting with clients reports as required. Data collation and population (dashboards and reporting).
- Managing and maintaining building operations to deliver high quality, efficient and cost-effective management of the building.
- Ensuring risk management, HSE, site safety, audit and inspections are completed and compliant.
- Ensuring all site staff are adequately experienced, qualified and trained. Also ensuring site staff are familiar with and have access to all relevant Mace management system documentation and instructions.
- Ensuring that all proposed sub-contracted service providers and suppliers are adequately vetted for management capability prior to award of contract.
- Actively monitoring and reviewing all sub-contracted service providers and suppliers on site for satisfactory performance.
- Carrying out such other reasonable duties as may be required by the line manager.
About you
You have experience as a supervisor in a vertical, multi-use buildings’ environment including hotel/hospitality experience. Highly affluent in BICSc certification with a centre of excellence or training centre is an advantage. Strong knowledge in chemicals, materials, and various types of equipment is a plus. You have experience in dashboard, reporting workplace management. In-depth knowledge of health and safety management.
