EFS Facilities Services Group is seeking expression of interest from qualified and experienced Electrical, Mechanical, MEP, HVAC Engineers for our projects in United Arab Emirates. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible to provide professional and effective engineering services to the project(s).

In this role, you will:

  • Organize, coordinate and manage the day to day operations of the jobsite
  • Assist and implement assignments allocated by the Facilities Manager
  • Develop and maintain strong and supportive relationships with clients, service providers and third-parties
  • Implement management instructions for projects, services and planned maintenance
  • Working with colleagues to design new systems, circuits and devices or develop existing technology
  • Ensuring that a product will work with devices developed by others, can be made again reliably, and will perform consistently in specified operating environments
  • Evaluate operational systems and recommend design modifications to eliminate causes of malfunctions or changes in system requirements
  • Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems
  • Submit requirements and justifications for resources such as materials, tools, equipment’s and man power.
  • Prepare and submit quotations and estimates. Liaise with supervisors / technicians to ensure accuracy of quotations and estimates
  • Evaluate the performance and assist in appraisal of employees

To be successful in these roles, you will demonstrate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in maintenance / facilities management sector
  • Track record of managing supervisors, technicians and subcontractors
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexible to work to shift patterns as and when required. Flexible availability for 24/7 rostered standby duties and emergency call outs
