Job Position – Foreman – Joinery and Wood Production
Company Name – Target Trading & Contracting
Key Job Responsibilities:
– Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the wood/joinery production area
– Assign tasks to workers and monitor productivity and work progress.
– Ensure production work is completed according to approved drawings and specifications.
– Monitor the quality, accuracy and finishing of wood and joinery works.
– Identify production issues and coordinate solutions with the concerned team.
– Monitor deadlines and ensure assigned works are completed on schedule.
– Provide updates to management regarding production progress and issues.
Key Requirements:
– Must have proven experience in joinery and wood manufacturing/production.
– Previous experience as a Foreman, Workshop Supervisor or similar supervisory role in the wood/joinery industry.
– Strong practical knowledge of wood fabrication, joinery processes and workshop operations.
– Ability to read and understand technical/shop drawings.
– Good knowledge of production processes, materials, tools and machinery used in wood manufacturing.
– Good team supervision, coordination and problem-solving skills.
– Able to work under production deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
– With transferable work permit and can join immediately
