Job Position – General Ledger Accountant
Company Name – Reach Group
1 year contract
(ACCA/CA) to join Finance team. The role will involve managing the general ledger, month-end closing, intercompany transactions, financial reporting, and supporting audits while ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise and maintain a holistic view of the entity’s accounts, ledger, and reconciliations
-Lead month-end closing and prepare monthly/year-end financial statements
-Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations
-Coordinate with auditors for external and internal audits
-Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
-Support tax and fixed asset functions
-Implement process improvements in the GL function
-Ensure compliance with internal controls (ICFR)
Experience & Qualifications:
-5-8 years of accounting experience with strong core accounting knowledge
-BA/BS in Finance or Accounting
-ACCA or CA qualified (CIMA considered)
-Advanced knowledge of Finance/Accounting systems (SAP preferred)
-Strong analytical and reporting skills, proficiency in English, and knowledge of IFRS
