Job Position – IT Helpdesk Specialists
Company Name – SMI Middle East
In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and support of all IT systems, 24/7.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Overseeing the implementation and testing of new IT systems and helpdesk software.
Ensuring all IT systems (helpdesk, printers, user devices) are accessible around the clock.
Promptly responding to user-reported issues and following proper incident management procedures.
Solving technical problems efficiently while managing contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and operational level agreements (OLAs).
Maintaining strong security practices and enforcing access controls.
Managing change processes through approved channels.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT infrastructure and user interfaces.
Proactively gathering information and documenting logs to identify opportunities for service improvement.
Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment on changes and mitigate risks.
Implementing timely software patches and ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
Participating actively in disaster recovery drills to prepare for potential emergencies.
Do you have the skills and experience to keep their IT systems running smoothly?
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred).
ITIL and ITSM certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT Helpdesk role.
