Job Position – Italian Sous Chef

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Italian cuisine and a strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients.
Responsibilities:
-Assist the Chef de Cuisine in menu planning and development
-Oversee kitchen operations in the Chef de Cuisine’s absence
-Ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes before they leave the kitchen
-Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective service
-Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen
-Help manage food and kitchen supplies inventory
-Participate in and contribute to team meetings and menu tastings
Requirements:
-At least 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
-Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, ingredients and cooking techniques
-Excellent leadership and communication skills
-Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
-Commitment to providing excellent customer service
-Food Safety Certification
