Job Position – Junior IT Support Engineer
Company Name – Nagarro
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in IT support.
Location: UAE, Dubai
1) Functional Expertise:
– Analyze business processes and user requirements.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document system requirements.
– Troubleshoot and maintain network infrastructure, systems architecture, backup solutions, Wi-Fi, firewall, switches, databases, and applications (e.g., Apache, Nginx, Hyper-V).
– Monitor regular updates for operating systems and antivirus software.
– Implement and maintain security measures to protect IT systems, networks, and data.
– Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
– Develop detailed technical specifications and documentation for systems and applications.
2) Technical Expertise:
– Operating Systems:
– Proficient in Windows, Linux, and macOS administration.
– Networking:
– Configure and manage Wi-Fi, switches, and routers.
– Server Administration:
– Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
– Familiarity with Cisco Call Manager.
– Skilled in VMware and Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
– Regularly perform backups and plan for disaster recovery.
– Security:
– Implement antivirus solutions, monitor, and troubleshoot.
– Configure firewalls, and manage IPS and IDS.
– Understand vulnerability assessment and follow security best practices.
– Hardware:
– Manage servers, desktops, laptops, and peripherals like printers, Wi-Fi devices, QNAP, NetApp, CCTV, NVR, and biometric systems.
