Job Position – Purchase / Procurement Quantity Surveyor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare accurate quantity take-offs based on BOQs, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Prepare RFQs and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Evaluate and compare supplier quotations based on price, quality, specifications, delivery, and payment terms.
Prepare Technical & Commercial Comparison Sheets.
Negotiate prices, discounts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders in line with company procedures.
Coordinate with Project, Engineering, QS, Procurement, and Finance teams.
Monitor material procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery to project sites.
Verify quantities, specifications, rates, delivery notes, and supplier invoices.
Maintain proper procurement records and supplier databases.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining required quality and specifications.
Assist with material cost analysis, variations, and other commercial requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Procurement, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in construction/MEP procurement or quantity surveying.
Experience with MEP materials, HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, electrical, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of BOQs, quantity take-offs, procurement, and cost comparison.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier coordination skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
ERP/procurement software experience is an advantage.
