Job Position – Quantity Surveyor – MEP
Company Name – MAP Vision General Contracting
Location – Abu Dhabi, UAE
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
– Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities) and cost estimates based on drawings and specifications.
– Conduct quantity take-offs for MEP works from drawings (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting).
– Prepare and analyze costing for tenders and project proposals. Evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations and negotiate terms.
– Handle interim valuations, payments, and final accounts. Monitor and control project costs and maintain cost reports.
– Manage variations/change orders and assist in contract administration. Support in claims preparation and dispute resolution.
– Liaise with project teams, consultants, and clients for commercial matters.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
– Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
– Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE/Gulf region.
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and QS software (e.g., CCS Candy, CostX). Familiarity with FIDIC and other standard forms of contracts.
