Job Position – Senior Network Engineer
Company Name – CNS Middle East
To design, implement, secure, and maintain complex enterprise networks. You will work extensively with Cisco and Fortinet technologies, lead critical infrastructure projects, provide L3 support, and guide junior team members. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys being the technical expert on major network initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Network Design & Implementation
Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks using Cisco and Fortinet technologies.
Configure and optimize Cisco routers, switches (Catalyst, Nexus), and Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
Lead network upgrades, migrations, and capacity expansion projects.
Network Security
Implement and manage Fortinet and Cisco security solutions including FortiGate, FortiAuthenticator, Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA, and Umbrella.
Manage VPNs (site-to-site, SSL) and secure remote access.
Participate in vulnerability assessments and incident response.
Operations & Support
Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, and FortiAnalyzer.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and L3 support within defined SLAs.
Maintain network documentation and SOPs.
Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with cloud, systems, and cybersecurity teams.
Evaluate new network technologies and manage vendor relationships.
Mentor junior engineers and deliver internal training.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in enterprise network engineering
Strong expertise in Cisco and Fortinet technologies
Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, and wireless systems
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members
Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, NSE4+, etc.)
