Job Position – Senior Procurement Engineer

Responsible for managing sourcing activities, ensuring contractual compliance, and aligning procurement operations with project timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in procurement within the interior design or luxury fit-out industry, strong commercial awareness, and excellent team management abilities. This role requires proactive coordination, strategic sourcing skills, and the ability to maintain premium quality standards that reflect the company’s deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement procurement strategies and conduct market research to identify cost?effective suppliers, materials, and services suitable for high?end interior fit?out projects.
Manage PRs/POs, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and ensure all procurement activities comply with company standards and project requirements.
Source premium?quality materials, finishes, and specialized items, ensuring full alignment with client specifications and luxury project expectations.
Track procurement budgets, monitor actual costs versus forecast, and prepare reports on savings, variances, and procurement performance.
Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Design, and Technical teams to ensure timely delivery of all materials and subcontracted services.
Attend project meetings to provide procurement updates, address challenges, and support overall project planning.
Assign responsibilities and oversee the workload of Procurement Engineers, Officers, and Assistants to ensure smooth and efficient operations across multiple projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
8–10 years of experience in a similar industry, preferably UAE-based.
Proven experience within interior design, luxury residential, or high-end fit?out environments.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict timelines.
