About the job
3D Designer / Technical Designer.
We have partnered with a modern contemporary luxury label based in Dubai, who requires a technical designer.
Experience of working with luxury fabrics and tailoring is require, to produce an innovative collection.
You will develop the collection from initial design, through to pattern cut, fit and along with the superb in-house atelier, source appropriate fabrics and trims to produce a contemporary, modern collection.
Responsibilities include:
Fashion trend research
Attending fashion shows and fabric trade fairs
Both freehand & Cad illustration
Manual Pattern Cut
Supervising samples production through atelier, to final finished garment
Garment fitting
Sourcing fabrics and trims
Trouble shooting fitting issues.
You will be technically trained, and a graduate ideally from Central St.Martin’s , or a similar world renown technical fashion university.
This is an exceptional opportunity to have a creative freedom and develop a collection from design concept through to final collection, whilst based in one of the most exciting cities in the world.
