Job Position – Waiter

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring efficient and courteous service while maintaining the hotel’s standards of quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and serve guests in a warm, courteous, and professional manner.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar team.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding menu items, beverages, and daily specials.
Ensure food and beverages are served promptly and according to established hotel standards.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
Maintain proper table setup, cleanliness, and presentation of the restaurant and service areas.
Clear and reset tables efficiently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Coordinate effectively with the Kitchen, Bar, Stewarding, and other departments to ensure smooth service.
Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints professionally and escalate them to the Supervisor when necessary.
Ensure correct billing procedures and assist with payment handling when required.
Follow all hotel policies, Food & Beverage procedures, health and safety regulations, and food hygiene standards.
Maintain proper care and handling of crockery, cutlery, glassware, equipment, and other F&B items.
Assist with restaurant opening, closing, mise-en-place, and other operational duties.
Support colleagues and contribute to a positive and professional team environment.
Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Supervisor or F&B Management.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Waiter / F&B Attendant in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.
Previous experience in a 4-star
Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards and restaurant operations.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Good verbal communication skills in English.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and pleasant personality.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
A team player with a proactive and service-oriented approach.
