Job Position – HSE Officer
Company Name – Al Ain Mills
Job Location : Ajman
Key Accountability: –
– Workplace Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards. Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE regulations and standards
– Safety Programs and Procedures: Develop and implement effective safety programs and procedures. Regularly review and update safety procedures to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment. Ensure all staff are aware of and comply with safety procedures.
– Accident and Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents to determine their cause. Recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
– Safety Training and Awareness: Conduct safety training and awareness sessions for staff. Ensure all staff are trained in Emergency procedures and the use of Safety equipment.
– HSE Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all HSE incidents, inspections, and training activities.
– Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with government regulators to ensure compliance with all applicable HSE legislation. Stay informed about changes in HSE regulations and ensure the organization is compliant.
– Industry Best Practices: Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends, Implement best practices within the organization to continuously improve the HSE management system.
Required Qualifications: –
– Education: Minimum Diploma in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) or a related field.
– Valid NEBOSH certificate or equivalent HSE qualification (preferred).
– Experience: At least 3 years of experience working as an HSE Officer in a facilities management or similar industry.
– Experience in the Food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
– Other Requirements: A valid UAE driver’s license (preferred).
