Job Position – Mechanical Design Engineer
Company Name – Graphite International
Junior / Intermediate
Location: Dubai, UAE
To support the design and coordination of mechanical systems across building projects. The role involves developing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
-Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems from concept to detailed design.
-Prepare drawings, reports, and calculations in line with CIBSE, ASHRAE, NFPA, and local authority standards.
-Develop and update Mechanical BIM models and support coordination and clash detection.
-Assist with authority submissions, shop drawing reviews, and contractor RFIs.
-Support construction phase activities to ensure design intent is maintained.
-Follow company quality standards and maintain accurate project documentation.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
-For the Junior : 2–4 years of experience in mechanical design within a consultancy environment.
-For the Intermediate: 6–9 years of experience in mechanical design within a consultancy environment.
-Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
-Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
-Strong coordination and communication skills.
