Job Position – Technician/Core Network Maintenance
Company Name – OMB
– Supports in carrying out routine link provision, preventive maintenance & fault rectification tasks in respect of the assigned Core and Access Network elements.
– Handle Fixed Network Operation & Maintenance activities including optical/electrical circuit Provision, Cessations, Re-routing & Network failures due to traffic & Hardware.
– Perform installation of fiber optic equipment and ODF patch panels.
-Experience in transmission technology & equipment’s including Cisco routers, switches, SDH,DWDM,IP network, firewall,…ect
– Attends and clears faults reported by NOC’s related transmission network using an analyzer, light source & Power meter.
– ODTR testing for locating FO cable faults and during cable outages.
– Support maintenance activities like acceptance testing (ATP, ACL etc.) of new FO Cables & network nodes.
Education Experience
– Bachelor’s/ Diploma Degree in Engineering/ Telecommunications/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
