Job Position – Warehouse Manager
Company Name – Ocean view Shipping
Location: Jafza, Dubai, UAE
Freight Forwarder” Individual to join esteemed team in Dubai.
For an experienced professional to oversee our warehouse operations, who has worked experience in JAFZA (Warehouse).
• Manage and supervise daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to optimize operational processes.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, encompassing Land, Air, and Sea shipments, with expertise in import/export processes.
• Coordinate with the logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
• Liaison with Government Department, EHS, Trakhees, Customs, Port/Terminals.
• Liaise with the customers, Vendors, Transporters & internal departments to optimize operations.
• Maximize Warehouse space utilization.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, replenishment, and cycle counts.
• Lead and motivate the warehouse team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
• Liaise and negotiate with transporters and drivers.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
• Proven 5 years’ experience as a Warehouse Manager in the Freight Forwarding industry.
• Team handling experience required.
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management.
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Familiarity with relevant software for inventory tracking and management.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple project
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and optimize warehouse processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
• Hindi & Arab an advantage
