Job Position – Buyer

Company Name – Seaworks

Salary: QAR 4,500 – 5,000

To support our marine and offshore operations by handling procurement activities, sourcing suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:
-Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities
-Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations
-Prepare and process RFQs, purchase orders, and procurement documentation
-Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors
-Coordinate with operations, technical, and marine teams for material requirements
-Ensure timely delivery of spare parts, tools, consumables, and equipment
-Maintain supplier database and vendor relationships
-Track orders and resolve delivery or supply issues
-Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and budgets
-Monitor inventory levels and support cost-saving initiatives
-Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate records

Requirements:
-Minimum 2–4 years of experience in procurement or buying role
-Marine, offshore, oil & gas, or technical purchasing experience preferred
-Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing, and vendor management
-Good negotiation and communication skills
-Familiar with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred
