Job Position – Electrical Site Engineer
Company Name – Al Moftah Aldhabi Building Contracting
Who will lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems of our high rise building project, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Electrical Engineer will develop and implement electrical designs, specifications, and standards to meet organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Create detailed electrical designs, specifications, and standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations.
Project Management:
- Manage electrical projects, including planning, execution, and commissioning.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Should have in depth knowledge in DEWA / DCD / Etisalat regulations.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Site Inspections and Testing:
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with electrical standards and regulations.
- Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Identify and resolve technical issues.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and develop solutions.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans for electrical systems.
- Ensure electrical systems are reliable and efficient.
Technical Support:
- Preparations of Engineering Calculations during construction.
- Coordinating with Mech / Civil / architectural / Structural disciplines engineering team
- Preparation of material submittals, Engineering Drawings & Calculations etc.
- Review of material submittals, Engineering Drawings & Calculations etc.
- Preparation of DEWA submissions.
- Develop and implement electrical standards and best practices.
Compliance and Regulatory:
- Ensure electrical designs and systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Stay up to date with changes to electrical codes and regulations.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (e.g., Electrical Engineering Technology).
- Must have experience in large scale construction industry.
- Minimum 4- 5 years of experience in U.A.E as Electrical Engineer.
- Experience in managing electrical projects, teams, and budgets.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM Power Tools).
