Job Position – Electrical Technician
Company Name – Candidzone
Location: Doha, Qatar
Department: Operations & Maintenance – Water Treatment Plant
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, including motors, MCCs, switchgears, transformers, VFDs, and power distribution systems.
– Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely restoration of equipment.
– Conduct routine inspections, testing, and calibration of electrical systems.
– Support plant operations to ensure continuous and safe water treatment processes.
– Maintain maintenance records and prepare technical reports.
– Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and company standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
– Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
– Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in water treatment, utilities, or process plants.
– Knowledge of electrical drawings, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices.
– Familiarity with PLC- and SCADA-based systems is an advantage.
