MEP Coordinator
A Special-grade Contractor located in the UAE requires an MEP Co-Ordinator (Plumbing & Drainage, HVAC Commissioning) for a 5-star hotel project which is nearing completion. The selected candidate must be willing to relocate to Djibouti, East Africa. Must have 3-5 years of experience in MEP services.
Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate with site teams and other subcontractors
Liaison with the MEP Director, MEP Engineer in charge located in the UAE.
Proven ability to review drawings and specifications, conduct quantity takeoffs, set-out works on site, and oversee execution processes, all the while managing cost, time, quality, and scope.
Ability to foresee risks on site and plan for mitigative actions.
Should have proven previous experience in commissioning of HVAC, Plumbing, and Drainage services.
Must liaise with the Procurement division based in the UAE.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Have proficiency in AutoCAD
English Proficiency is a must; Arabic, Hindi & Malayalam proficiency is an added advantage for potential candidates
